SOPHIA'S ART PHILOSOPHY 

Life is about finding balance. 

Consider the concept of left and right: without left, we wouldn’t know where right is; without right, left loses its meaning. Left and right co-exist, each defined by the other. Opposing forces contrast and complement one another. They are interconnected and inseparable. They are actually one. I embrace this balance and unity.

Life is a constant act of balancing, where we navigate between opposing forces - moving between left and right, experiencing ups and downs. Yet, the true magic lies in realising that each side has its own unique merits, and both are equally important, contributing to the richness of life.

My art celebrates this balance. Many people fear change and the unfamiliar, but beyond the unknown lies an abundance of new opportunities, surprises, and personal growth. 

In my art, I strive to capture the intricate dance between the known and the unknown. I start by spontaneously drawing elements like figures, plants and flowers separately, not knowing how they will come together. As I arrange the figures with the leaves and flowers, I uncover the composition and shapes that emerge.

Each painting takes on its own character, becoming a unique creation that blends the predictable with the unpredictable; the certain and the uncertain. The result is an extraordinary harmony, where the unknown and the known converge, giving birth to a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Every piece I create manifests balance, unity, passion and love. I hope my art inspires and uplifts you. Don’t fear the unknown, uncertainty and change - they bring excitement and new opportunities. They awaken your courage, confidence and creativity.
